I am a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist and Board Certified Registered
Art Therapist. My style has been described as “compassionate and caring”…
“goal-oriented”… and I have “a unique ability" to work with peoples’ strengths
and help them fulfill their dreams. I earned a master’s degree from Notre Dame
de Namur University, and have been working with children, adolescents and
families for over 11 years.
My experience is with children suffering from emotional and behavioral
challenges, at-risk adolescents, and families struggling to communicate
effectively with one another. I have worked in residential settings, after-school
programs, in therapeutic schools, and as an outpatient clinician. As an adjunct
faculty member of Lesley University, I also have teaching and supervisory
experience.
I am passionate about using art and other expressive therapies to help facilitate
the therapeutic process, and I provide a safe, fun environment that inspires
creativity and self-reflection.
